Z is a self-described "pervert of all sorts: highly sexual, extremely promiscuous, bisexual, a swinger, polyamorous, sadistic, dominant, sometimes a pro-domme, always a slut and a sexual rebel…" and Pervertically Virtuous is a blog/journal where she writes about her sexual experiences. I was immediately drawn in simply because she's a talented writer. Smart, without being pretentious. Honest and fairly blunt, without being snarky at all. Whether it was reading about an exclusive BDSM/swinger party in New York, or her relationship rules, the writing was relatable and genuine. You'll find scene/play descriptions, a sprinkling of photos (that appear to be her and her partner/s, which was a refreshing change from many a blog I've read) and lots about her outlook on relationships, lifestyle, and so on. The blog is fairly new, it looked to be about 3 months old, so hopefully it ends up being a long-lasting one.

I find this blog extremely intriguing! It is by a man that describes himself (in the past) as: "...A repressed guy from a shame-obsessed background. I was a young married guy who hadn’t really figured out my sexuality. I was a maniacally hard-working professional, slipping out for my fix in the middle of the day. I was a cheating piece of shit who abused the love and trust of his family, friends and colleagues. I was an absent father and husband. I was an addict." He writes about his personal journey into a world of sexually compulsive behavior, and his current life of polyamory and love of dominance. He talks about his relationship to porn and sex work, and the disconnect between the tone of his own erotica and how he likes to experience sex with a woman. A lot of his erotica focuses on folks who have connected on the internet, and then meet in real life to have sex. Blacksilk is a 25-year-old linguist working for a small company in Cardiff, and she doesn't even make that "cunning linguist joke" in her bio. That scored points with me! She is a bisexual switch that leans heavily toward submission, and she speaks frankly about her sex life and relationships in her blog. There is also a smattering of erotic fiction, scene reports, and original artwork. I loved it when she shared her drawings, which often had lesbian BDSM themes. Like many bloggers, Blacksilk reviews sex toys as well. I loved the fact that she organized her reviews well and was clear to point out the ones that she hated. I'm always suspicious when bloggers love all of the toys. Blacksilk doesn't do that. There were also a lot of original photographs and videos of the toys, and that rocked! This is a blog by Master Michael Samadhi and his slave/wife Serafina. It is still relatively young, but I felt that the level of conversation and original pictures really warranted a review. The couple enjoys Tantra and BDSM, and they definitely communicate about their lives in a very real (and sometimes quite raw and vulnerable) way. They have BDSM and kink articles about things like Darlex and Hepatitis. Michael shares assignments that he has written for his partner. The review section is a breath of fresh air, since it deals with things like collars and EMT scissors. I didn't see any standard "sex toy" reviews, but loved reading over scene music recommendations and experiences with hemp rope suppliers. Here is a sample of the sort of thing you'll read from Michael: "If a slave is somebody who has been totally devalued, I'd not want to command them, I'd want to shelter and protect them until they felt valued and human. I'll be upfront with you. I've never met Kitty Stryker, but I have a bit of a crush on her based upon her writing. She is really talented, and pretty darn gutsy. She describes herself as a, "Domme and escort, along with being a Burner, a queer, and a bookworm." Her blog has been the center of a lot of attention lately, as she wrote a post called "I Never Called it Rape: Addressing Abuse in BDSM Communities." This was a phenomenal post and really has inspired a whole movement of discussing consent and rape culture within BDSM. It is far from all she has to offer, however. I think posts like "Anal-Eze? Please, god, no." should be required reading for anyone that wants to try anal play. Her blog has some standard stuff like reviews as well, but she actually demonstrates a lot of the toys by using them in original hardcore photographs. This blog is positively delightful, and a really interesting read! I absolutely love this story blog! Daisy Danger is a collection of stories that are from the writer's past. She does change these events a bit, however, and sprinkles in fiction (as well as a healthy dose of anonymity). Her writing style is very raw and honest. I really liked that! The collection of posts is sold as an ebook in pdf format, and can be purchased from several online stores. She also has an audio podcast of some of the entries, and she links to where they may be heard. There is an underlying humor here that I particularly appreciated, although that may simply be my own experience. I was beyond amused when reading entries like "I'm done with talk. I want action." The human mind is a rich and imaginative instrument, and it always warms me to see it used to explore sexuality and sensuality. This blog definitely does that through a mixture of roleplay, storytelling, and experimentation. The writer is a bit of a mystery, but his character is named Adam Zadeh. Adam exists on the online game Second Life, where he is part of a Gorean roleplay experience. For those unfamiliar with the alternative science fiction/erotica world of Gor, it was the creation of an author named John Norman back in the late 60's. The books dealt with a certain life philosophy, and part of that involved male dominance and female submission. He has been keeping this journal since 2008, and he includes illustrations of his character in the game. I think you will enjoy this journal if you would love to get a look at a very intricate emotional and mental exploration of a fantasy, and the goal of making it more of a reality. There is a mail system that acts like a personal bulletin board for private conversations, so you don't lose track of what has been said to anyone. You can post writing, see what your friends are doing, and a lot more. A lot of talented pervs are posting writing and engaging in conversation here. I've met a lot of new friends. There is a small amount of advertising, but it is done really tastefully and never gets in the way. You can write to the folks that run the site, and they will actually write you back.
