They are absolutely huge, at least as large as that naughty pin-up poster you had pinned to your wall in your first apartment. The name of this site is so sexy, isn't it? HotRedApple ... it sounds like a warm, spicy dessert. Right now the site boasts a couple dozen warm, spicy photo sets, each of which consists of some thirty or forty images. These can be viewed in either a large size or a really large size. Most sets feature a single woman shimmying her way out of a very sexy outfit. A few include a male partner, a naked and semi-aroused male partner. Very hot. Site owner Gary Quiring, a photographer with forty years of experience, chose non-professionals as his models, then lovingly caressed the images 'til they reached the point of near-perfection. I love the fact that Quiring's photos are gorgeously artsy and yet still look real. Skin has texture, faces have lines, and thighs even show a few quite beautiful stretch marks. The monthly fee for HotRedApple.com is more than worth it considering the lovely pictures you'll find inside. --aag

"Just lovely nudes of lovely women," wrote photographer Andrew Kaiser in his submission form to Jane's Guide, and what do you know? That's exactly what we found on his site. Kaiser shows galleries organized by type of camera: black and white film, color film, Polaroid, digital and pinhole. Each format has its own special beauty, but they are all absolutely striking. Also linked is a LiveJournal blog featuring more of Kaiser's work. Want to own a piece of his work? All images on the site can be purchased; you can also hire him for private shoots. I wish Kaiser would use a better image gallery on his website. The one currently employed is a little hard to use. Also, LiveJournal is not the best choice for displaying these gorgeous works. When you wander a street fair or farmer's market you will find everything from fresh local apples and organic cheeses to chainsaw sculpture and homemade potpourri. So it is at Unseen, an online intentional marketplace for a wide gamut of erotica. It has been growing since the spring of 2008 and at time of review, November of 2008, it appears to still be a labor of love. Planned and no doubt eagerly awaited, is the commercial opening of the marketplace. The model is unique enough to merit it's own page on Wikipedia. They refuse advertising and plan on existing on a small portion of the artist's revenues. They have hundreds of individual galleries submitted by painters, photographers, models, digital artists, and others. They are devoted to being as inclusive of all legal sexual modes or minorities as possible, no matter the size or race or gender or whatever. Viewing is free - although part of the upcoming "monetization" is premium galleries for pay. Viewers can request their preferences - gay, bi, or straight, scupture or paintings or photography, mild or explicit. The galleries are divided into two groupings - most viewed and recommended. The recommended have been examined and found to have some unique worth by the webmasters. I'll have to take a fresh look once they shift to their planned commercial model, but I certainly have to recommend what they have so far. This artist's work actually made me ache. His photos are like a snapshot of the texture of a dream, or subconscious thought. The models are ephemeral nightmares or goddesses, and it is hard to tell if you want to wake up or delve deeper into the image. This is special. Ned Rosen's work (and collaborative work with his partner) can be found many places on the internet, but this site focuses on some of his images that deal with fetish. This Brooklyn based photographer has a background in fashion photography, and his sense of composition is astounding. He can very cleverly tease you, invoke emotions, or trick you into feeling like you are looking at skin for the first time. I saw work having to do with lingerie, bondage, medical fetish, spanking, d/s, and more here. There is also a list of his contact info, and links to many of his other websites (which I also recommend heartily). He has an etsy store and a blog as well, and those are also a lot of fun to explore. There is something very bare about his work. I don't know how else to put it. This website is sort of an online gallery and magazine that focuses on fine art nudes. It is published in French, but there is a helpful link that will translate most of it into English. The photographers have at least three pieces on display, and they all have links that allow you to visit their personal sites for more information. I found that I was positively giddy with the abundance of beauty here! In addition to the images, there are interviews and such with the models and the photographers. I always find that particularly helpful (especially if they go into the technical aspects of the craft). There are some ads here, but they are not that obtrusive. James Groves is a freelance photographer from Southern California that has a real gift for both color and black and white photography. He has appeared in several publications, including "Shaved or Unshaven" and his newest book "A Decade Exposed". I notice that Groves really has a talent for capturing "the spark" of a person, and that his lingerie and fetish photos particularly shine. DeltaOfVenus.com, described by the site owner as "part historical archive, and part enlightened porn website," is chock-full of a century's worth of images, films and stories, digitally restored whenever possible. Dozens of Quicktime movies can be streamed from the site or downloaded. These are absolutely charming, both in terms of action, setting and background music. You'll also find hundreds upon hundreds of images categorized by gender, time period and activity. Rounding out the site are about a dozen fun and informative articles, as well as selections of erotic literature and art (these may have been my favorite things of all). One last awesome detail? The webmaster will do his very best to fulfill specific member requests. How cool is that? Wow! If you want behind the scenes information on fine art nude photography, I think that this may be your dream come true. David Weisenbarger has put together a growing online exhibit of female nudes, and all of them are respectful and celebrate the artform. He has well over 60 different sessions online, each of which show all the shots from the session in sizes that range from small (800 pixels) to extra large (3500-5000 pixels). You can download the sets as zip files, or view them one by one on the site. The models are very young and petite women, mostly from the Ukraine and Armenia. One of the site's main models is actually the photographer's wife, and all of the models seem to be active community members of the site. You can leave comments on individual sets, messages for the models, discuss things in the forum with David, watch video interviews with the talent, or even go and read an indepth lesson on the photographic skills and equipment used to produce the set! I read over some of the lessons, and they are particularly good at discussing lighting and depth of field issues. If you are a photographer or model, you can submit some of your own work in the member forum for comment and discussion. I was curious about another minor feature of the site as well, the owners used to run a humanitarian mission to orphanages in the Ukraine. Now, they have created a David-Nudes Charity that gives 10% of the membership fee to kids in the Ukraine and surrounding Eastern European countries. Neat! D. Keith Furon is an award winning photographer that has work in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art. His work covers everything from landscapes to erotica, and all of his images are particularly sensual. You'll find many nude, erotic, and bondage themed pieces on his site. He seems to possess a real gift for unexpected compositions, and the texture of his images are particularly striking. Some of his photos seem to glow with a strange dreamlike quality, and often blur or show movement through clever use of line or lighting. I was particularly struck by his "Body in Fabric" and the entire "Mud Bath" series. They seemed so rich that I was certain that I could feel them with my fingertips. In addition to his images, he shares some thought provoking essays and information about the business side of his art. There is a list of his current collections, exhibitions, shows, and galleries handling his prints. He is available for private photo sessions, and he provides details about that on the site. Italian photographer Hikari Kesho's site features galleries of some of his favorite work, along with notices of upcoming exhibitions, biographical information, model calls and a store. My advice? Go straight to the galleries, where you'll find seven sets of twenty to thirty images each. There's a striking set called "Fetish," focusing on piercing, bondage and heels; another set called "Shibari" features models bound and photographed by the artist. The set I enjoyed most was Kesho's "Boundless" collection, which portrays Shibari bondage on women he refers to as "abundant." There are precious few images of larger women that combine beauty and strength to the degree these do. Very nicely done. This site is the erotic photography of Nancy Murrian, with a focus entirely on male models. There is nothing hardcore, although there is the occasional erect penis. The models are all good looking, the photography is all done well, and the polish of the site is very professional. With each gallery inside the member's area you can click on a poster-sized look at the cover image, or you can send an e-card with it, or you can browse through the entire gallery of that model. The Rapture Gallery is the re creation of photographer Kerry Ray Tracey's fine art website that he had created in the 1990's. After an extended absence from photography and the internet, he is going about bringing all of his old material out of storage to post on his site and even creating new erotic art to be included at a later date on the site. He has a unique style which has led him to be published in the leading art mags of the 90's and you can definitely see why when viewing the selection of work on his site. Kerry has plans to add a member area to his site once he start producing more material, and I look forward to seeing his new creations!

Figure Baby's motto is "simple, sexy, fun", and they certainly deliver on that motto with outstanding high quality erotic photographs. Their models are absolutely gorgeous and have that sexy girl next door appeal. The photographer and webmaster, Tony, does a great job of photographing his models and showcasing their unique beauty. The members area has 54 photo galleries featuring high resolution images sized between 800 and 2400 pixels which can be viewed as a slideshow or downloaded to your computer in zip format. As an added bonus, Tony has pickd out some of his favorite photos and made them available as 300dpi high resolution print ready files. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Figure baby and the site gets my enthusiastic recommendation.

Originally from Saskatchewan and now based in Vancouver, B.C., David Chan is a fine art nude and fetish photographer. Darque, a New-York based fetish photographer, has collected a small selection of work on IndigoBlaque.com. Several classy flash slide-slows present women of color in BDSM situations. The focus is on beauty and sensuality instead of pain or degradation. The images are really lovely, incorporating fetish clothing and rope as well as lots of wonderfully submissive positions. The site has a guest book and some links to some other projects Darque has worked on.
