Where do you find mythology, mother goose characters, BDSM, and bad puns in the same place? That's easy, a Selena Kitt novel! This author's site showcases many of her books through different publishers, and each one has a brief explanation. There are music videos on two of the pages, which made my browsing experience run slow. I was very intrigued by the premises she put forth here. It appears that she has quite an original sense of story, which is less and less common amongst erotic writers these days. This is a great little author's site by Sage Vivant. She has a new book out about finding your erotic personality, and she showcases it here along with a neat quiz (that helps you learn a bit about which personality type you lean toward). For what it is worth, I took the quiz and it seemed very accurate for me. The only thing I was sad about was that there wasn't a string of code to show off results in blogs, since I think that would really catch on for her and market her book well. She doesn't sell any of her work directly on the site, but she links to sites that do. You will find audio CDs, custom erotica, books, and long audio stories. This is a very well done author's site. It goes over King's current projects, reviews, and appearances. The most recent project is a novel called 'The Melinoe Project' that has been published through Renaissance E-books, and is available for sale now (if you follow the links from this site). There are around six samples of the work that this author produces, all of it kinky and heavy on dominance and submission. Updated review for a site we listed two years ago. At the time, they were located only in the U.K., although they shipped worldwide. Now they have a U.S. based store (Los Angeles) as well, so you can pick which site to go to on the splash page. This is an absolutely gorgeously designed website. Coco-de-mer is a real life retail store in London, and this web counterpart offers indulgent online shopping. The interface is Flash designed - mouse over different site components and you'll find the store philosophy, an erotic movie, info on events held at the actual store location, and the web store. I had a wonderful time just exploring the site, the imagery was truly lovely. Thomas S. Roche has been writing professionally since he was around seventeen. He is currently the Managing Editor over at Eros Zine, and has worked for some really great folks in the past (like Good Vibrations). He has written quite a few erotic books (in addition to writing so many published short stories, nonfiction articles, and reviews that he has lost track of how many are out there). This website lists some of the books that he is responsible for. If you click on a book, it brings you to a shop (like Amazon) where it can be purchased. You can get signed editions of some of his work through the author himself. If you want to look at some of his current short story work, you can check out his blog (which he links to on this site). There is usually a teaser and a link to where the rest of the story can be read. There are a bunch of reviews and other neat goodies in his blog as well. Ann is a contributing editor to Clean Sheets, and a darn good writer! Her personal site links to many of her articles (which are often based on her real life experiences), poems, blog, and erotic fiction. There are also links to several ebooks that she has written, and Amazon links to various anthologies that she has contributed to. Her work falls squarely into the category that I privately think of as "literary smut". It generally has quite a bit of character development and an emphasis on dialogue and story.
