There are small leather, costume, shoes, and accessories sections as well. Although they carry sizes up to a UK 3XL, many of the offerings here are best described as a UK size 14 or under. The sizing guide is not entirely helpful, but it is available. It usually gives a range of UK sizes (without measurement) and applies it to a label such as "Medium". If you enjoy open thongs or micro g-strings with fancy beading or nice sensual touches, then you'll love some of the things found here. The only freaky bit? They have edited the photos so that most of the images present women as having no genitals at all. Yeah, you heard me right. So, there will be a very alluring micro g-string on a flesh version of a human doll with no labia or hint of a skin fold leading to genitals. This led me to realize that this extreme form of fantasy body modification is both absolutely disturbing and a little hot. Your mileage may vary. All of the prices here are in pounds sterling, so make sure that you verify whether your credit card charges for currency conversion. The site offers great contact, privacy, returns, shipping (including international), and other customer service information. They even post their phone hours, which I really appreciate. They even have their own original KNX brand line of lingerie that includes items like french knickers and camisoles. There are many styles of corsets here, including custom made versions. They cater to folks from size 14 to size 44, and with bra sizes from 32A to 54G. I really appreciated the detailed shipping, returns, contact information, size charts, and privacy info. I also loved the playful and less than standard things that they carried (such as knickers and bloomers). I was less impressed with the small pics, which often didn't enlarge at all. My first thought upon checking out ShaperCorset.com: Oooooh pretty corsets! My second thought? Ugh, terrible website design. Well, maybe terrible is too harsh a word. It's not like they used the blink tag or Comic Sans. Instead the site just looks out-of-the-box dull, and in a world where everyone and their pet dog has a website, you really can't afford to look dull. Nevertheless, everything is clearly spelled out: sizing information, wearing tips, shipping policies and contact information could not be more clear. Images enlarge to a moderate (though by no means spectacular) degree. And the selection is fairly large but almost entirely uninspired. If you're looking for something unique, this probably isn't the site for you. Just need an average corset? You can probably find it here. --aag

I'm a sucker for a pretty corset and TrueCorset.com has some gorgeous ones. They also carry cute skirts, hats, gloves and jackets. Check out their information on the history of these lovely items and how best to wear them. The site's got a lot of promise and wonderful wares, but wow doesn't the design need some help. At the moment the logo is all but unreadable, as are the too-similar colors in the navigation bar. The sidebar content fights disconcertingly with the main column as well. Returns information is restrictive but clearly spelled out, and there's a phone number to call for extra help with fitting. Prices are listed in Great British pounds; shipping is available worldwide. Because TrueCorset.com's wares are hand-made, expect a short wait before receiving your garments. --aag

I was actually impressed with Pink Minx Lingerie (and that's no small feat); after looking over their landing page I thought this was going to be some tiny site with a little specialty or niche stock - I was not prepared for how much selection they actually have. They carry huge burlesque fans, multiple styles and sizes of corset (even corsets for men), fancy socks, costumes, dresses, classic lingerie, shoes/boots, and the list goes on! Pink Minx is a UK based shop so all their prices are listed in pounds, but they do accept multiple forms of payment (including paypal). Returns are accepted up 7 days after dispatch but they will not cover shipping costs on returns or accept wrong-size returns; so make sure you ask them for help if you're not sure before you buy. - Shay

I chanced upon AntisepticFashion.com in my travels around the 'net and was so blown away that I had to take a closer look. This team of Los Angeles-based designers create amazing corsets, collars and other original gear. Their assortment of ready-to-buy items is small, but don't let that fool you. The designs shown in their hard-to-find but amazing online gallery are just spectacular. I was particularly taken by the gorgeous three-piece Adrastia Corset, made from gold leather and laced together in the most intriguing spots. Franzisi.com, based in Germany, offers gorgeous retro designs in girdles, bras and long dresses. Many items are open at the crotch or nipple; these are especially nice to look at even if you aren't currently in the market. I am in serious lust after one of their amazing corset dresses. I have no idea where I'd wear it (the supermarket, perhaps?) but I need one, badly. The site can be read in German or English, but some of the English translations are a bit sketchy. Second Sexe is a French language site (thankfully Jane does have a reviewer who speaks French) aimed mainly at women. The site is divided into four sections: La Médiathèque (media library), Le Magasin (store), Le Magazine (magazine), and Le Clube (club). The site really does have a little bit of everything. The media section has a range of french porn for sale as well as audio books (check out the sexy audio sample, it's very well done), and something that they're calling "Sextos" which are sexy text messages and you can order to have sent to your cell phone. The "store" section of the site sells some really cute lingerie as well as the standards (dildos, vibes, lube, bondage gear, books, DVDs). They have a 7 day return policy for unopened/unused merchandise only. The magazine section of the site is full of interesting articles (all in French, of course) on a variety of topics, including an advice column. In the club section, users can register to participate in the site's forums, ask their sexpert questions, and generally personalize their experience on the site (mark favourites, create a wishlist). Piper's is a site for real people. Women who have a hard time finding hose or lingerie or other intimate wear that actually fits their bodies. Skinny size 2's will always be able to find clothing. Women of size can't say that - or couldn't previously. Piper started her site after becoming frustrated in finding hose that fit. She has detailed shipping and return policies. She has a realistic sizing chart. Most important - in my opinion - is that she has plus sized models wearing the items. Many of the images were supplied by the manufacturers, she tells us, but they are building their own photo collection as well. In addition, they have a monthly contest for submitted photos of their customers, and again have detailed submission requirements. G.W. Corsetry offers you an exclusive approach to having your corset made. All corsets are custom made with you making the choices on style, embellishments and fabric. First off you need to browse through the different designs and pick out what appeals to you. There are several patterns that are from the late 1880’s and early 1900’s. Some patterns are not suitable for tight lacing. This information is listed with the description of the corset. You can make your choices based on what you plan to use the corset for; training, bridal or just for fashion. If you have questions there is an excellent FAQ section that you can browse through. It includes various definitions on the terminology pertaining to creating your corset along with information on fabrics. Once you have chosen your design and embellishments you need to fill out the Quote form so that you will know what the cost of your corset will be and approximately how long it will take for you to receive the finished product. You can get some general pricing ideas from the website. Once you have received your quote back you can then continue by filling out the Order form and Fittings form. Once this is completed you with receive an invoice and work can begin on your corset as soon as you make your payment. When you have sent in all your fitting information a scrap corset will be made and sent to you via the mail to try on and advise of any adjustments that need to be made. Including photographs of yourself in the scrap corset are also a good idea. It’s a good idea to keep this in mind if you want the corset for a particular time or event. Shipping back and forth will take time. Payments can be made in installments if you prefer, however the item will not be shipped to you until it is fully paid for. At first I thought this was going to be another standard fetish gear site with the same stuff I see everywhere, and boy was I wrong! The people at Fetish Flair offer a lot of that stuff I was expecting, but they also offer many hard to find and custom pieces. Some of my favorites were The Humbler CBT device, Custom tooled leather collar, Rose Punch Crop, Leather Roses, and unusual END leather masks that look almost skull like. There is also a wide variety of canes, collars, numbered art prints, costumes, jewelry, and more! They have sizes up to 6X, so everyone can find something they can wear here. The contact and customer service info is easy to find. The size charts are available (and helpful advice about them is given). They list events they will be at, and have a really nice links section that many educational sites would envy. To top it off, they are offering dungeon design services and collaring ceremony planning and space rental! They apparently have a dungeon in St. Louis, and they state that "We are happy to coordinate every detail for you from the flowers to the custom collar. When I visited the website the In Stock system was down for maintenance so I was unable to see what corsets they have currently in stock. I will be going back for another peek though! Well, the name says it all. If you are looking for some interesting stockings from a UK shop, then this one has quite a range of stockings and other erotic lingerie. I found everything from anklets to jewelry here, and there were very clear links to size charts for products that were not simply "one size fits most". Descriptions of the products themselves are a bit on the minimal side, and customer service and contact info is pretty limited as well. That said, they offer order tracking which is very nice. All in all I'd say it is a decent enough online store for lingerie. Navigation is on the extremely irritating side though, so be prepared for that. - Vamp
