Sites like this always make me feel a bit like a kid in a candy store! If you want a lot of professional quality hardcore porn and like variety, then this is definitely the place for you. The site works a bit like a cross between popular adult tube sites and an online streaming video store. You pay one monthly fee and gain access to well over 10,000 DVDs, and you have unlimited streaming and downloading privileges of DRM free content. You can view or download the movies in DVD, flash, wmv, or mp4 formats (and at different qualities). I had no problem getting this stuff to work on one of my older computers, especially since the streaming flash version is chopped into scenes. Fuck yeah! You won't find irresponsible crap like desensitizing anal lubes or toxic chemicals here. They have a long list of what they WON'T stock, and that includes things like: phthalates, amines, ceteareth-6, mineral oil, parabens, petrochemicals, petrolatum, popylene glycol, synthetic fragrances, sulfates, and ureas. So, what do they stock? This Portland, Oregon based store has a lot of the old favorites such Hitachi, Tantus, Lelo, and Oh Mi Bod. They also have some really stunning stuff like the Jackboot paddle from Icon Brands (which is a paddle that has the sole of a boot on the impact surface), leather ropes that look like vines of roses, artistic and fun crops (such as skull and crossbones), and gorgeous plugs and paddles made of glass and decorative crystals! You'll also find interesting stuff like vulva puppets, dramatic makeup kits, edible jawbreaker ball gags, cyborg fleshlights, and more! They are fairly good about listing measurements and materials, including the measurement of the "active" part of the toy (as well as the "passive"). The gender expression section made me very happy, as it used respectful language and offered a wide range of practical products like dilators, breast forms, and binders. The DVD section has everything from hardcore smut to sexual documentaries, and lists work from companies that I personally have a very high opinion of in general. It is easy to work your way through the products, and you can even select categories such as "Directed by Women". The events section has ticket sales to educational workshops, and at the time I visited that included a participatory class on kissing. The toy care section is a very thorough and accurate guide to how to care for different types of toys, and I'd give it a Vamp's pick for this part alone. The site also uses an icon system to help give fast information about toys. This info includes whether the toy is made in the USA, made in the Pacific Northwest, vegan friendly, submersible in water, a winner at the Feminist Porn Awards, and more! I loved this quick visual system! Shipping, returns, contact, and privacy info is all easy to locate and clear. Hours of operation are listed, and so is an estimate for response time on emails. I loved the fact that you will not be added to unsolicited email newsletters or anything here, which is an unfortunate rarity. This store is still building an inventory and a style, but I am loving what I see so far. The mission style of this place is beautiful, and would be a good guide for this industry as well as a pretty good template for a better world in general. If you are looking for a sex doll, this store often has images of the dolls themselves (as fully inflated). They also stock a nice selection of breast forms, gaffs, padded panties, packer gear, and form bras. I liked the organization of the site, which helps guide you to the exact thing you are looking for rather swiftly. All of the policies are written out very clearly, and are easy to find. You should note the 30% restocking fee, email list add, and no cancellation on orders. This site was up for an Xbiz Award in 2011, and they have an active Twitter account that offers special discounts to followers. They currently take orders from the US and Canada only. I was really overwhelmed by the huge variety and quality of the merchandise here, but I did have one pet peeve. They offer desensitizing agents that contain benzocaine, lidocaine, and menthol for anal play. This site showcases the work of Vancouver-based Paperny Films. They created a documentary series on Kink that lasted 5 years and had 63 episodes. In their own words, "Kink takes viewers on an intimate journey into the lives of people living on the sexual edge; exploring love, pain and pleasure..." This site has a list of episodes, bios of folks who were featured, and a bunch of free videos of full length episodes! I watched an episode, and I found it pretty darn entertaining. If you like what you see, you can purchase the DVDs of each season or buy digital downloads of specific episodes (in mp4 format). Payment is through Paypal, which always makes me a bit nervous. Shipping and privacy info is easy to find, and there is a link to the film company as well. I didn't like the contact info here though, as it was just a form. I think that I'd write to them first, and make sure that I knew exactly who I was dealing with before ordering. Wolfe reviewed this site back in 2007: "Wow. The amount of content here is staggering. All the photos and videos are amazing quality and there is enough to get you off every day of a monthly membership. The site is extremely easy to navigate, and...the content is varied enough that you're sure to find something you'll enjoy...On the down side, everything on this site is designed as an upsell." I just stopped in to take another look at it, and I can confirm that there is still a staggering amount of content. When I visited, there were 517 full length movies available (and many of them had received AVN and XBiz awards). These movies can be streamed, or you can download them (for DVD, HD 720P, or Ipod/PSP). These movies can also be viewed as individual scenes, so be aware that the 2,977 scenes alluded to in the preview are the same content found in the full length movies. Each full length movie also has several large galleries of pictures featuring stars from the film. The galleries are viewable in slideshow or downloadable as zip files, and the ones that I viewed were running between 300-600 pics a piece. These are very high quality, and the movies are usually plot driven and featuring pretty good acting. The porn stars featured are major names, and so if you are a fan of mainstream work you'll see a lot of your favorites (many of which work exclusively with Wicked). An example of some of the performers you'll find here would be Jessica Drake, Kirsten Price, Alektra Blue, and Stormy Daniels. I'm almost always the most fascinated with bloopers and behind the scenes (BTS) footage, and there were just over a hundred of those here. The event footage section was sort of underwhelming, with a total of 21 clips (and none of them newer than 2009). Even more underwhelming was the live show archive, which only had 27 videos (and hadn't been touched since November of 2010). The next live show is scheduled for December, but they don't say the year. The video feeds section mentioned in the preview actually delivers more videos than were promised, as I found a total of 47,558 viewable in streaming flash. The 24/7 live cams promised? A link to WickedMate. Membership to this site doesn't give you anything special there, and you will still have to pay for private shows. So, don't join for that. There are still ads all over the member area to buy their movies, and now there are lots of links that carry you away to affiliate sites as well. I didn't find them too distracting after I came to expect them. A decent place to see the exclusive Wicked Girls and download full professionally produced and high budget movies from this studio. - Vamp

Peter gave this site a great review a couple of years ago and I'm happy to say that it's only improved since then. There are so many porn sites which charge $30/month for a tiny fraction of what you'll find here. Karups delivers an embarrassment of riches in terms of high quality, frequently updated content. Second Sexe is a French language site (thankfully Jane does have a reviewer who speaks French) aimed mainly at women. The site is divided into four sections: La Médiathèque (media library), Le Magasin (store), Le Magazine (magazine), and Le Clube (club). The site really does have a little bit of everything. The media section has a range of french porn for sale as well as audio books (check out the sexy audio sample, it's very well done), and something that they're calling "Sextos" which are sexy text messages and you can order to have sent to your cell phone. The "store" section of the site sells some really cute lingerie as well as the standards (dildos, vibes, lube, bondage gear, books, DVDs). They have a 7 day return policy for unopened/unused merchandise only. The magazine section of the site is full of interesting articles (all in French, of course) on a variety of topics, including an advice column. In the club section, users can register to participate in the site's forums, ask their sexpert questions, and generally personalize their experience on the site (mark favourites, create a wishlist). I wasn't sure what to expect when I went to this site. So many adult movie review sites are really just white label sites, pushing VOD or buying DVDs, and therefore give every film an outstanding review. However, after a few minutes on XCritic, I would easily tell that this wasn't the case. Each review is incredibly long and detailed, with information about the cast, director, audio, and has both a review of the movie as whole, as well as as a scene by scene break down. You can see that the reviewers actually spent time watching the movies and thinking about their reactions, rather than just giving every film their stamp of approval. The sex toy reviews are hit or miss; some are really well written, while others leave something to be desired. They also have three of my favorite big-screen stars blogging for them; Stoya, Joanna Angel, and Penny Flame (well, Joanna writes more of an advice column). With great, thought out movie reviews, decent toy reviews, and awesome female talent providing content, this site definitely deserves at least a once over, and gets two thumbs up from me! - EssinEm
