There is so much I could say about Juliland but I think the site says it best! "What is Juliland? It's nasty, sexy, beautiful, entertaining, educational and most of all fun"! Juliland features the photography and video work of New York based artist Richard Avery. His work manages to be refreshingly original, edgy, and still capture the essence of his models. At present, there are 20 jgirls that are featured in 136 galleries and 109 video sets. Most of his sets feature solo models, but he does have a few racier sets. The site also features the podcasts of Juli Ashland, a sex positive educator with a background in the adult film industry. Each Monday she interviews a member of the adult industry and releases the podcast on the site. With 64 podcasts available for download and new ones every week, you'll never run out of interesting, and sometimes controversial, listening material. I really enjoyed reviewing Juliland. If you aren't familiar with it, the important thing to understand is that you can download audio files of "radio shows" and play them on your home computer or mp3 player. The stars of this online blog and podcast are Atticus and Nova, an adorable and sensual couple that explore sexual themes in an erotic, intelligent, and informative manner. This 24/7 internet radio station caters to folks with an interest in BDSM, Goth culture, and other "alternative" lifestyles. They feature rock, metal, alternative, goth, grunge, 80's hair bands, and dance party music. They also offer interviews with figures in the fetish scene, live broadcasts from BDSM events, news, and a lot more. The radio station is owned by the same folks who run Paddles-NYC (a well known BDSM club). There is a lot of flexibility in how you can listen to the broadcast, since it is available through Winamp, MediaPlayer, iTunes, or Live365. I've kinda known Jamye for a few years now, since she produced the show "Love Bytes with Bob Berkowitz" for online radio. Back then, I did a weekly guest spot with Bob. Since that time, she's immersed herself in all things sex, obtaining a Masters degree in sex education, and writing several columns for various publications. This personal site has bio info, an often-updated weblog, an advice section, links to her various print columns, and a whole bunch of podcasts on various sexual topics. Tatum Reed aka Popwhore is a woman with a mission, and that mission is to make herself a brand. She has a strong background in marketing, and she tries to showcase not only herself but her "lifestyle" as a "conservative political columnist, fashion maven, and narcissistic sexual connoisseur." On her site you'll find blog style reviews of consumer goods, movies, restaurants, ballet, artists, and such. Inside the member area you'll get 36 full length hardcore movies of her sex life available in full movie Quicktime streaming versions as well as high quality MPEG and medium quality WMV. The mpegs and wmvs are available in bite sized pieces, so that you can get the whole movie a few scenes at a time and go a little easier on your internet connection. I saw everything in the member area from gangbangs to interracial. If you just can't get enough of her, you can also jump from this site over to her podcast, or look through her picture gallery. This is a very intelligent and engaging podcast that involves, "Tales from the front of responsible non-monogamy from a pansexual, kink-friendly point of view." They have one podcast a week and currently have an archive that reaches back to the start of January 2006. The radio program is available as an RSS feed, podcast, or direct download from the website. If you look at the first post in January, you'll see that there is a livejournal for the broadcast that will give you show notes. The hostess of the programs I listened to was female, and the content was more about the communication issues of poly than about teh hawt sexxors. They need to add some info about the hosts and such, but the site seems pretty new so I'd imagine that is coming soon. - Vamp

This is a really intriguing talk radio program that centers around sexuality. That isn't a fancy way of describing one of the zillions of podcasts out there that are simply making aural porn either (not that there is a thing wrong with that). I just want you to be clear about what to expect. The host of the program is Professor Tom, a married Chicago man (and dominant) who has limited experience in the BDSM and fetish worlds. He chooses topics that he or his listeners are interested in learning more about and looks for experts to answer questions and share their knowledge. There is an archive of over 19 shows at the moment, some of which are co-hosted by Mistress Dominion (a pro dominant), and others that are hosted by Miss Gypsy (a lifestyle submissive). The talk is sophisticated and educational, rather than crude or intentionally lurid. The speakers are eloquent and reasonably responsible as they tackle topics as variable as BDSM terms, figging, fake semen, and choking. The podcast updates on Wednesday, and you can subscribe to it one of three ways (RSS, iTunes, email). I should stress that they are a very responsible in their communication, and my remark above about "reasonably responsible" is due solely to listening to the choking broadcast. It is a little known fact that I was the writer of the original breathplay site on the web, and I know a lot about erotic asphyxiation. That means that I can be a nitpicker about it. hah. I noticed that they needed a better grasp (no pun intended) on that topic, but to be fair there are few people with good information about it. Suffice it to say that activity can be unpredictably deadly whether you are in good health or not, and passing out is far from your only worry. If you have eclectic taste in music, then this internet radio station may be just for you! While I tuned in I heard everything from country to hard rock within minutes of each other, which is actually the way I like it. The station caters to the BDSM lifestyle, so most of the talk/discussion that goes on there has something to do with consensual kink of some kind. All the DJs have short bios that describe who they are and what you are likely to hear while they have control of the station. If you normally have problems with broadband focused radio stations, you'll be happy to know that this site features both broadband and dial up versions. If you agree to be an active member of the forums and upload your sounds, you can get access to the archives and everything without any cost to you. If you don't mind having access to only the newest materials, you can also join for free. It is only if you want to be a silent voyeur that doesn't contribute that they'll ask for a subscription fee if you want to listen to the entire 4 years of collected audio. There are a few pictures and videos of contributing members, all of which are shot by obvious amateurs in relationships. Some of the audio is truly voyeuristic, meaning it consists of sounds overheard in hotels or from neighbor's homes (when they are involved in really loud lovemaking that ends up being heard from the street). I found some of the sound files to be pretty hard to make any sense of, while others were graphically clear. All in all, this was some of the most erotic stuff I've come across in awhile.
