This blog goes all the way back to 2006, and is still very frequently updated. Sadly, I couldn't find an actual "about" page, but it doesn't take much diving in to figure out that it focuses primarily on male submission fantasies, forced feminization, a bit of age play, and so on. The author categorizes posts quite well (there are a few switch posts in there too) and writes quite nicely. A mix of steamy fiction and real life emotion, I definitely enjoyed the visit and the peek into a different world. The only thing I didn't like? The blog navigation is way down at the bottom of the sidebar, below links to other sites and ads. I want to read YOUR content, quit trying so hard to send me away! :) - Jane

Take a moment and imagine a leather Facebook or Myspace, and then imagine it being run by and for kinky folks. That is exactly what Fetlife is! It is the coolest new community site out there for pervs, and it is absolutely 100% free. I had been hearing the buzz about this new spot on the web from a few of my lifestyle friends, and I finally decided to go set up an account and take a look myself. Many years ago I had been on other sites that promised community and allowed free communication, but since those sites have sold to other companies their soul has left the building and communication costs money. It is also communication that is no longer under the nurturing ownership of perverts with a personal interest in our tribe. I'd lost interest, and so had most of my friends. I was hoping that this site could be some of what I was missing on the old ones. Wow, I wasn't disappointed! I immediately ran into some of my old friends, and then ran off to recruit new ones. It is easy to sign up. Once you have, then you set up a profile. You can add pics to it, and you'll never run into that "you have to have such and such membership" to view pics or show them to others. There are social groups here with ongoing forum conversations, so you can sign up for topics that interest you (or create your own groups). There is a mail system that acts like a personal bulletin board for private conversations, so you don't lose track of what has been said to anyone. You can post writing, see what your friends are doing, and a lot more. A lot of talented pervs are posting writing and engaging in conversation here. I've met a lot of new friends. There is a small amount of advertising, but it is done really tastefully and never gets in the way. You can write to the folks that run the site, and they will actually write you back. I've been in love with this place and raving about it for the last several weeks. This is one of the few sites that didn't ask for review. I sought out the owner and asked him if I could post one. This blog managed to move me today, and not just intellectually. It was so full of passion, pain, longing, love, and loss that I cried. It is written by Oatmeal Girl who describes herself as a submissive Jewish bisexual feminist baby boomer. A lot of the writing is in the form of poetry, and perhaps that is how it slipped into my heart and ravaged my emotions. She has a very well developed and intensely emotional style. It never seems overly fancy, and instead feels very raw and honest (like the talk of a good friend). She often speaks of love, but it isn't an easy love. It is the sort that rips through you, but that you couldn't and wouldn't want to live without. Here is an example of her writing, "I'm high on a cocktail of drugs, and they're each addictive on their own. After two warning pages (hey, it pays to be safe!), I finally made it almost into Slave Kitten's inner sanctum. The main page of this site kind of reminds me of my very website I ever did...circa 1998 or 1999. You know, solid color background with contrasting Courier text, a few pictures inserted helter skelter. Once inside the members area, it isn't much different - the black background with the bright letters greet you. In the stories area, there are two journal entries (kind of like a blog), and there is supposed to be erotica on its way, but currently there is none. Under galleries, you can find personal pictures, which consist of the leaves turning and some VERY adorable cats (sorry, I do love cats!), and a few other pictures. However, the "sex" pictures are poorly done (very amateur), there aren't that many, and there are more than a couple of doubles. Basically, I think this could be a good personal blog, where people could read about the journey of Slave Kitten. However, I don't know if it's really ready to be a paysite.

Every once in awhile I find myself wondering how in the heck I've managed not to do a review of a site yet. I know the answer, the list of sites we've got to review is pretty huge. We used to get a lot more of these types of sites, and I miss them. This is one of those home grown personal websites that used to rule the web, before the blog explosion. It is written by Seeker's breath{MS}, and you can tell that she found the graphics and designed the place herself. It is full of articles she has written, resources she values, and a lot of personal opinion about D/s relationships. There are links to a myspace page and blog as well. In her mission statement she says, "Please, do not confuse BDSM with D/s. Even though D/s is a part of the three facets in BDSM it is not a fetish, it is a natural way of life." Her approach is very romantic, and she discusses ideas as diverse as the concept of a soul mate and meditation. I really love this sort of thing, even when I have a different take on some of it at times. BDSM is really difficult to film, and most of the time SM in the adult industry actually means Stand and Model. People put on the pvc, pull out the toys, and completely miss the energy of actual power and pain relationships. This is a site that manages to deliver something authentic, and sometimes brutal. Catherine de Sade and K offer videos that are rough, gritty, crude, dangerous, and real. In their own words, "...[H]orrible things are done to this woman; physical and emotional abuse, degradation and so much more. All in the name of love." There are a handful of homemade DVDs for sale, and each one lists a run time and has a few sample clips. They also offer clips through clips4sale, and those come with full descriptions. If you know a bit about BDSM, some of this stuff may make you a bit squeamish. My own safety guidelines are quite different from this couple, so I certainly was at times.
