Long time since we communicated and glad to hear things are going so well.  Since your such a reader, I have a suggestion that I'm sure you will find very interesting.  I just finished reading it myself.

Pick up "The Haj" by Leon Uris (1984).  Its probably not what you are used to reading but, given our current situation in the Middle East, I think it should give you a new appreciation for some of the things our administration is up to nowadays and the people (Muslims and Jews)so central to our present involvement.

After reading this, I'm certain that none of them (our administration) read it as they would have thought a lot harder about what they were about to do.  It's one of those books thats difficult to put down and really gives some interesting insights into that part of the world.  Something we all need to do to understand this "war" on terrorism.
