checking in… are you surprised?

There have been way too many things eating up all of my emotional energy lately, hence the lack of blog posting. I won’t get into details, but I will say I’ve been welcomed to the years of teenaged children in a big way. Yow. Anyhow, all that aside I thought I’d at least pop in to say hello and catch up. Elliott is sick today (this whole spring/early summer has been an allergy nightmare) but we’re taking off for a couple of much-needed days of cruising on the sailboat anyhow. The girls are at their dad’s for the first time in a couple of months, and probably this will be our only weekend without them this summer. We do have our other baby (the dog) to take with us though – so much for total relaxation.
Hoping to kick Jack into gear to finally finish the coding on the regional section of the site so we can start posting once again, after more than a year of no regional updates. Will post on the front page when we’re finally up and taking submissions again.
What I think I need is a whole new Jane. New energy to run things around here, since my focus and energy is all in parenting these days. One of the things I love most about life though is the very different life cycles we all have. Things change, energy and focus changes, friends and family evolve and grow. It’s all good, even when it’s challenging as the past couple of months have been.

I’d really prefer if this little missive didn’t appear on your website, Darlin’s. But it’s really up to you.
Dear Jane and Elliott, G’day from over in Australia. -Just a quick note to send a greeting to two fine folks who I’ll probably never meet.
This little Email isn’t about anything even remotely sexy, -but instead about the genuine pleasure I’ve found in reading online about two folks from 2 different ‘worlds’ who’ve found each other and shared each other’s lives and hearts.

Yeah, -chokkies and gift certificates mean a lot more to me, too, than all those other really ‘out there’ expressions of affection/eroticism/appreciation, these days.
A whole ‘New Jane’ ??? :o Hhmmm. Maybe. Perhaps not. Perhaps your ‘Original Heart’ in a new and different application of your individual artistic method? I would personally HOPE so.

LOLOL. Ah Dears, -never mind an old campaigner’s droll meanderings. The important thing; is that the Girls are O.K. (teenagers can be SUCH Beaches) the dynamic between Elliott and Jane continues to empower them both, -and the wonderful work which is this web-site, continues to inform and assist other folks all over the world.

Just wanted to let you know that I appreciate the effort you and your staff put into this site. It remains a helpful source if info for me.
