I swear, we can't even stop gendering DOGS, for crissakes. I have this funny feeling that Max feels pretty secure in his masculinity (if he identifies that way, anyway), and loves that gorgeous collar plenty. :) And I'm very, very glad middle-kid has already been making good use of the book: seriously, I had a nice happy moment of it feeling much more real than just having them here when I realized that as of the other night, it was in someone's hands who needed it and being as useful as I wanted it to be. Because without that part, all the work I did was for naught. Boo on the collar haters!
