oops!

So the other night, I finally started a Twitter account. I originally tried to register as “janesguide”, only to find it taken. I sorta bitched out it at the time. Well, I owe a huge apology to my dear, sweet AAG. (I am truly sorry AAG) I completely forgot that ages ago SHE opened the Janesguide twitter because I am too lame about adopting new technology. Bah!
Anyhow, I think I’m going to continue my tweeting at janeduvall, since it’s kinda like the journal – not necessarily porn related.
I AM averse to new stuff like this. I guess my age is showing. heh.
This morning I was at the college bookstore with one of the daughters. I cannot believe it was $450 for books for a single quarter. Two of her books were more than $100 a piece. I guess it’s been so long since I was in school that I’d forgotten how it was. Gah.
Finally posted some new reviews, including an awesome one of IFM. I do truly love that site.

Our son is a junior in college this year. We’ve been buying his books online from Amazon. Mostly used. If your daughter can get the ISBN numbers before her next semester/quarter classes start, she can save 50% on the price of books.

thanks, Mr. Manic – I think I’ll try that next time, she was just all worried about having the right edition. ISBN is different for different editions, correct?

Yes, that is correct. Different editions have different ISBN numbers. I don’t know how big of a college/university she goes to but if she can ask her profs (after she finds out who they are) what books she needs before the next semester starts, you can shop online. It definitely saves money.
On a side note, I’d upgrade the shipping. Lots of sellers ship USPS. Our son didn’t get some of his books until a week after the semester started. Just a helpful hint.
