Holy cow the Orchid G Vibrator from Babeland is one very powerful little toy.

It looks like a smallish egg held aloft on a long thin stalk. The stalk is just large enough to encase two “AA” batteries–in other words, not very large at all. The action in this vibe lies in the head.

And that is a very good thing. I’ve never understood the concept of concentrating a vibe’s power in the shaft. Don’t you want the most power on the part that’s going to be pressed up against you?

Babeland targets the Orchid G to folks who would like to be able to reach their g-spots without seriously straining their wrists. I found that the toy was not bad on my g-spot. Not bad, but not great. There are toys out there which probably can give you a better angle and more solid pressure on the g-spot. The angle on the Orchid G didn’t allow me to hit my g-spot as firmly as I’d have liked.

However, the vibe was fantastic on my clit. Fan-fucking-tastic.

The Orchid G is super-strong, stronger than many other toys that use larger or more batteries, and because the power is all in the egg, you can pretty much be guaranteed that it will get you off hard and fast, if that’s what you want. It’s got a good range in power, from a low hum all the way up to a strong roar.

At the higher speeds, my vibe produces a slight rattle, as if something is getting spun around in the egg portion. It’s slightly distracting, but it hasn’t been nearly distracting enough for me to investigate the source of the rattle. I’ve been way too busy coming.

If you are looking for a toy that will reach your g-spot easily, the Orchid G is a fair but not great. If you love strong clitoral vibrations, you are in for a real treat with the Orchid G.
