Form 6 Vibrator

form 6

The Form 6 vibrator from JimmyJane comes with quite possibly the most intriguing charger stand I’ve ever seen.

It’s a small plastic cradle into which the Form 6 is gently pulled by means of a magnet. You don’t have to plug the vibe itself into the charger (although you do plug the charger into the wall), which means that there are no bothersome little holes on the toy into which lube can creep. The vibe charges by means of a small metal button on the end of the toy and a metal collar around the toy’s neck.

This is so amazingly super-cool. I spent fifteen minutes just playing with the charger before I even tried out the toy.

Form 6 is a very firm toy covered with a silicone skin. You should only use water-based lubes with silicone products like this one, and you will want to use lube with this toy as silicone can pull a bit on your skin without it.

The toy has been designed for ease of operation. Three sealed buttons line the larger end of the toy. Pushing any one of them for two full seconds will turn the toy on. This is a nice feature because it makes the toy pretty much impossible to turn on inadvertently–in your luggage for example.

While the toy is water resistant, it shouldn’t be submersed. Shower play, however, is just fine. You can clean the toy with soap and a damp cloth; make sure it’s fully dry before you rest it back in the charger. I really like that it’s alright to leave the toy in its charger for storage. I have visions of leaving my Form 6 there all the time, so that it’s always ready for play when I am.

The toy has separate motors at each end, the intensity of which can be controlled by the button nearest to that end. The Form 6’s middle button allows you to select one of six vibration patterns. Each of the six patterns can be cranked up through five levels of intensity. You can use either end of the toy separately or together, which produces a huge number of possibilities for your vibratory pleasure.

Here’s the bottom line: Six patterns on one end. Six patterns on the other end. The ends can buzz separately or together. Each pattern has five levels of intensity. You do the math.

If you turn the toy off, it will remember what pattern and level you were using the next time you turn it back on. This is a great feature if you’re like me and have a tendency to turn your toys off accidentally as you are using them.

The Form 6 feels great in your hand. It’s weighty and solid, giving it a quality feel. It’s subtle and class enough that it actually could pass as a body massager.

I tried the Form 6 for clit stimulation and some very minor vaginal penetration (the toy is not meant for internal anal play). The intensity level is not strong enough to knock you out of bed, but it’s certainly sufficient for most purposes. I had a great time playing with all the different patterns and levels; it’s amazing how different the various options feel.

As far as sound levels go, the Form 6 is about average. It’s not even close to silent, but you won’t need to worry about waking the neighbors.

While the Form 6 is a quite pricey vibe, it has the makings of a quality piece of equipment that should last a long time. JimmyJane offers a 90 day warranty on the product if it fails to deliver.
