Raquel Dildo from Babeland

The Raquel Dildo is a vividly pink dildo designed by Vixen Creations and available for purchase at Babeland. It’s made of Vixen’s own VixSkin, which is a softer, more realistic-feeling version of silicone. At the center of each VixSkin toy is a rigid silicone core which is meant to provide the toy with an extra degree of stability.

In the past I’ve been disappointed with the VixSkin toys I’ve tried. I’ve enjoyed the very soft feeling of the toys in my hands, but trying to get them to perform in the vagina has been a struggle at best.

Perhaps it’s due to the thinness of the Raquel Dildo, but I found it to be much more stable when used for thrusting. At only 1.5″ at its widest point, Raquel seems to have the skin-to-core ratio down perfectly so that it feels satisfactorily squeezable and also really good for penetration.

Raquel sports a flared base for use in a harness; the base also keeps the toy nicely positioned on a smooth horizontal surface if you’d care to fuck yourself silly in this manner. You cannot stick this toy to a shower wall, but the edge of the tub or the closed toilet seat will work very well.

I really enjoyed the rounded, curved tip of Raquel in my vagina. This shape feels great against the g-spot and I can only imagine that it would feel just as good against a man’s prostate.

At the moment I’m engaged in the ardent study of deep-throating techniques. I’ve been told to practice religiously with a toy, and the Raquel is my current toy of choice. Its 7″ of length and realistically-soft surface make it excellent for practice. Have I succeeded in deep-throating Raquel? Not yet. But I’m not giving up.

VixSkin silicone makes Raquel extremely easy to clean as well as durable. Silicone will last for ages as long as it’s cared for properly. Use water-based lubes only and clean this dildo in hot soapy water or in the top rack of the dishwasher without detergent.

You might wonder at the hefty price tag of this toy, especially when compared to similarly-shaped dildos made from jelly products. Let me assure you that there is no comparison between a toy made from jelly and one made of silicone. Jelly may initially be less expensive, but you will get only weeks or a few months of use from such a toy before it begins deteriorating. Silicone toys, on the other hand, will never deteriorate with proper use. And unlike jelly toys, silicone toys can be sterilized so they won’t harbor bacteria.

This toy is well worth the investment if you are looking for a multi-purpose, realistic feeling dildo.
